Thank you for all your calls and messages of concern and offers of help. The Waldo Canyon Fire raged into northwest Colorado Springs causing an unexpected and hasty evacuation of our office. Although we know wildfire is an everpresent possiblity, witnessing the sheer power of 100 foot flames driven by 60 mph winds is awe-inspiring and humbling. Tapis is back in our office at 540 Buckeye – the view has been altered by the fire, but the structure is untouched.
We are thankful to the firefighters who put themselves in harms way to protect our community, homes and places of work.
